IBM Payments Director Gateway

The IBM Payments Director Gateway product provides a common doorway into the Payments Director system, supporting items down to the transaction level from image exchange networks, ATMs, and other remote capture channels, in multiple formats, including X9.37, CIFF, and XML.

Gateway is designed to:

Work with IBM Payments Director to store image data and addenda records from incoming ANSI X9.37(2003) files.

Work with CPCS Communications Adapter to obtain necessary data for receipt of ANSI X9.37(2003) files to the Gateway server.

Transfer ANSI X9.37(2003) files from the Gateway server to the host environment for processing by CPCS.
Convert ANSI X9.37(2003) files into a format suitable for import into CPCS.
Work with the CPCS electronic string support function to import the converted ANSI X9.37(2003) data into CPCS in a Mass Data Set string format.
Track the status of incoming ANSI X9.37(2003) files throughout the CPCS processing cycle.
Work with the IBM Payments Director servers to create outbound ANSI X9.37(2003) format image cash letters.
Accept non-image ANSI X9.37(2003) format files created by a third-party cash letter system or return items system, and insert properly formatted image addendum records -- from images stored in the IBM Payments Director environment to the files -- and create image ANSI X9.37(2003) files for delivery to another financial institution.
